Kindergarden to 1st Grade — COME READ
WITH US
The presentation for this group focuses on interactive reading
presentations We include where we work and how ideas are found
every day. Students are encouraged to share their ideas.
2nd to 4th Grades — THE MAGIC OF WORDS
Look around the library. All those books were created using only
26 letters! Includes how writing is used in everyday life, the
writing process in the creation of a book, and story sharing.
5th Grade and up — MILLION $ WORDS
Choosing the right noun or verb can make writing crisp and clear.
When should you add adjectives and adverbs? Why rewrite? Who is
an editor? Includes discussion of alliteration and onomatopoeia,
the development of a book from idea to publication.
Specialized programs available for junior high school and
high school students and teachers of all grades.
 All
of our presentations include:
We are able to speak to as many as FOUR groups in a day.
Our program covers 30-60 minutes, depending on the age group, and
allowing time for questions.
We have supplementary materials that we will leave
for the teachers.
Suitable for fourth grade up, young writers may bring writing
in progress or come to create work under our guidance. We then
work together as a writers’ critique group. Limited to ten
writers at a time.
Small group programs may be substituted for one of our formal
presentations. (Please set this up in advance.)

For one honorarium, you get both of us!
- Usual fee $1000.00 a presentation, plus lodging and transportation (when necessary due to distance)*
- A written contract is available if required.
- Please make our check payable to Writers Ink (Tax ID
available) and have it ready the day of our appearance.

We can do two presentations at each school.
